Hamburg brennt!
Die erste Nacht ist geschafft – Hamburg brennt weiter! Seit gestern 16 Uhr ist das Audimax der Universität Hamburg friedlich besetzt. Projektgruppen sind entstanden, die Verpflegung durch eine Volxküche ist gesichert. Bands und andere Künstler_innengruppen haben sich für ein Rahmenprogramm bereit erklärt.
Erste Forderungen wurden formuliert. Unter anderem wurde die Demokratisierung der Uni, Gebührenfreies Studium und eine Durchlässigkeit des Bildungssystems gefordert (Ausführli-cher Forderungskatalog im Anhang). Speziell bei der Besetzung der vakanten Präsi-dent_innenposition wurde ein demokratisches Verfahren angemahnt. Gerade Presseberichte über eine mögliche Nachfolge durch den jetzigen Präsidenten der Freien Universität Berlin Dieter Lenzen sind in diesen Zusammenhang kritisch zu sehen.
Die heute ursprünglich vorgesehenen Vorlesungen fanden nicht statt. Einzelne Professoren haben sich solidarisch erklärt und angeboten, alternative Vorlesungen unter dem Motto „Bildung für Alle“ abzuhalten.
Unsere Solidarität gilt den besetzenden Studierenden der anderen Universitäten europaweit, speziell den Studierenden in Tübingen, deren Besetzung heute mit Gewalt beendet wurde.
Das nächste Plenum findet Donnerstag, den 12.11.2009 abends statt.
